Inaugural Call for Papers and Launch Announcement: June 2026
April 24, 2026
We are proud to announce the official launch of Nexus AI & Education (NExAIE), a Diamond Open Access journal (No APCs) hosted by the Kahveci Nexus.
NExAIE is established to address the critical need for rapid, high-integrity dissemination of research at the intersection of artificial intelligence and educational practice. By merging advanced computational tools with world-class human expertise, NExAIE offers a transformative publishing experience designed for the modern scholar.
I. A New Model for Peer ReviewNExAIE introduces a unique AI-Native Peer Review Protocol. Utilizing specialized prompts designed to evaluate measurement integrity, statistical rigor (including SEM, CFA, and EFA), and pedagogical alignment, our system provides authors with:
-
3-Day Initial Screening: Rapid feedback to accelerate the scholarly conversation.
-
Socratic Revision Guidance: Transparent AI prompts that serve as mentors to help authors stress-test and refine their manuscripts before final editorial decisions.
-
Human Authority: While AI handles technical verification, our Section Editorial Board—comprised of international experts—retains the final "Accept/Reject" authority, ensuring a sense-making synthesis of every submission.
II. Inaugural Infrastructure Showcase: Volume 1, Issue 1 (June 30, 2026)
Our inaugural issue will serve as a foundational "proof-of-concept" for the journal's digital infrastructure and AI-Native Peer Review Protocol. Authored by the Editor-in-Chief, this issue will feature five foundational pieces—including an Editorial, Technology Reports on the PEDAL Archive, and Commentaries. This issue will act as a live demonstration of our transparent, 3-Day Initial Screening pipeline and the public disclosure of AI peer-review metrics using Scholarly Sync 2 (SS2) metadata.

III. Call for Papers: Volume 1, Issue 2 (June 30, 2026)
We are now actively accepting submissions for our second issue, scheduled for release on June 30, 2026. Reviewed by our international Section Editorial Board, we invite original research articles, technical notes, and theoretical frameworks in the following areas:
-
STEM & Natural Science Practice: Best practices in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology education.
-
The Affective Domain: Research on motivation, self-efficacy, and the "human" side of STEM learning.
-
Critical AI Literacy (CAIL): Ethical integration of Generative AI and the development of AI-literate curricula.
-
Curriculum & Instruction: Modernization through educational technology and instructional fidelity.
As a Diamond Open Access venue, NExAIE charges no fees to authors or readers. We believe that high-quality, AI-informed research should be a global public good.
We invite you to register as an author and submit your work today to be part of our monthly publication cycle.
